Quince and Pomegranate

I love this piece so much.  The more I look at it, the more there is to see.

It came about by pure chance, as often the best pieces do!  I wanted to create a piece of my favourite fruit – Quince, a piece inspired by Caravaggio, an artist whose work I love (I don’t think I would have liked him so much…) but the colours began to move, to ‘float’.  I’m not sure what went wrong but I loved the result. Hope I can replicate the process!
