“For stern readjustments the wind-horses battle,
And ever the strongest prevail;
The oaks on the mountains their iron arms rattle,
And laugh as they comb out the gale.”
From - ‘Wind-Horses’ by Albert Durrant Watson

This poem could have been written for my latest work. ‘Horses of the Wild Wind’.
This horses painting was inspired by the weather that has been extremely windy here in the South of England. As I lie in bed at night and listen to it blow, I imagine wild and fearless horses racing across the sky.

The frame I have hand painted in Farrow and Ball's 'Railings' and finished with cold wax which does not mark for a beautiful sheen. I believe that the frame should look as good as the painting.

Rust Becomes is beautiful abstract art to buy.

Inspired by the rusting detritus that litters many shores. The deep reds and oranges of the decaying metal and the blue and greens of the moving ocean waters.

The frame I have hand painted in Farrow and Ball’s ‘Eating Room Red’ and finished with cold wax which does not mark for a beautiful sheen. I believe that the frame should look as good as the painting.

Gentle Sunlight is beautiful art to buy.

“Gentle Sunlight” is an abstract representation of rejuvenation and tranquility. The artwork is my homage to the incredible beauty and restorative energy of nature, highlighting the profound connection between our inner vitality and the natural world.

The work portrays a person experiencing rebirth through meditation in the midst of nature’s embrace. Immersed in a dream like woodland landscape, they ‘forest bathe’, seated near the enchanting, crystal blue ocean and under the deep blues of a clear sky, they bask in the magical powers of golden sunlight, known for its spirit-healing qualities.

I wanted to vividly illustrate my own experience of nature’s healing influence and the therapeutic and strengthening power of meditation within nature. Vibrant hues of green and blue meld with splashes of red, symbolising the human body, its blood, and heart.
